Don't Think I'm Crazy!

Why?

Well, it’s usually because I’m talking out loud to me! I have my game face on, my hands are moving, and I’m seriously affirming positivity over my life, I’m claiming the promises of God, and I am commanding my day!

In some circles they call this self-talk, and it’s a powerful tool in your tool-kit for self-growth. Let’s face it, the world is filled with negativity. You don’t have to go looking for it, it’s just everywhere. Sometimes it emanates from our personal spaces, like family life or at work.

In order to counter these voices, you have to have another conversation; one that is filled with hope, faith, victory, belief in yourself, trust in the Lord, an expectation of goodness, mercy and grace. And you can’t be shy about it. You have to do this for yourself. No one else will.

Take 30 minutes this week and record a few of your favorite Scripture promises on an index card or small notebook. Then begin to memorize and repeat those promises back to yourself throughout the week. When the world tries to tear you down, remind yourself of the truth.

Don’t mind if anyone thinks you’re crazy. They already do anyway! Say it out loud so you can hear your own voice declaring it boldly and proudly!

To your success!
